Ex-Corrections Official Arraigned on Criminal Charges

The former director of operations for New York's Department of Corrections, James A. Ferro, has been arranged on charges including coercion, official misconduct, forcible touching and harassment.

The charges grew from a larger inquiry into the Department of Correction's mismanagement, corruption and, what New York does best-- cover-ups !

Ferro was part of the unit charged with investigating alleged inmate abuse throughout New York's vast 40,000-employee correctional system.  MORE.....

Hero, Whistle-Blowing Cop Still Facing Retaliation

     Police Office Laura Schook, a 20-year-plus New Albany, Indiana, cop has canned for doing the right thing for cops everywhere and, most importantly, for the public and the concept of justice.

     Officer Schook had the nerve to refuse to remain silent on the issue of two officers, Gary Humphrey and Jon Tucker, working for their private businesses while on the job as cops.

Horrifically, it was also reported that officers were then instructed NOT to provide her with backup while doing her job.  MORE......

Richard Scott Bradford, a Plano Texas police officer since 1998, has been arrested on felony charges, including possession or distribution of child pornography.

Former Sheriff's Deputy Gets One Year for Excessive Force

     Federal Magistrate Judge Maria Valdez handed down the the most severe possible sentence, for a federal misdemeanor conviction, to ex-Sherriff's Deputy Rafael Munoz.  The jail video shows the actions employed by Munoz, and that resulted in the broken nose and tooth of an inmate under his care.  MORE.....

Assistant District Attorney Arrested for DWI

Dallas County Assistant District Attorney Justin Moore, who is black, allegedly accused the arresting officers of being members of the Ku Klux Klan. And Moore is also alleged to have called one black officer an "Uncle Tom."

When the name-calling didn't get him any "law enforcement courtesy," Moore simply advised the arresting officers, "I'm going to make sure you  don't have a job on Monday."   Prosecutor Moore has been suspended without pay.  MORE..........

Off-Duty Cop Arrested For Punching Driver and Taking the Driver's Car

The police officer, who has been a Boston cop for 16 years, allegedly punched the Uber driver and then drove off with the car.  The officer, Michael Doherty, has been placed on administrative leave.

Doherty was charged with assault and battery, and using a motor vehicle without permission.  It was reported that Officer Doherty went after a good-samaritan, who happens to be black, and who came to the driver's assistance, saying, "... what do you want, N*G*ER."   MORE....

Cop Arrested Twice in Four Months Still Collecting Paycheck

In September 2014, Chattanooga police detective David Catchings was arrested for DWI after being observed driving into oncoming traffic.  He was placed on paid administrative leave, enabling his $42,000.00-a-year salary to continue.  

And after allegedly hitting his mother-in-law in the face with an open hand, Catchings was again arrested, this time by the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office. The detective reportedly taunted his mother-in-law with, "Go ahead, call the cops.  They will believe me before you, because I'm a cop."  MORE......

Rape Victim Says Investigating Officer Sexually Attacked Her

Chattanooga police detective Karl Fields pled the Fifth Amendment over 15 times during a murder trial, but the questions had nothing to do with the murder, they involved his own personal problems.

A rape victim has alleged that the lead investigator in her rape case, Karl Fields, sexually attacked her, harassed and stalked her- one day calling her over 70 times.  Detective Fields allegedly told the rape victim that he was physically attracted to her; now he's on administrative leave. NYPD Cop Surrenders After Allegedly Attacking City Worker

After a video emerged showing a mid-thirties male suspect, and who had been identified by the alleged victim, New York City police officer Mirjan Lolja turned himself in at the police precinct where he's been a cop for seven years.

Cop Charged with Rape While On-Duty

Oklahoma City police officer Daniel Ken Holtzclaw has been charged with over a dozen felony counts after 13 women testified that they were assaulted by the cop while he was on patrol.

One 17-year-old victim says she was raped by Holtzclaw on her mother's front porch.  Some victims only came forward after details of the officer's arrest was publicized on the local news.  Meanwhile, nearly a half-dozen victims have already talked to attorneys who are planning civil lawsuits against the city and the police department, seeking monetary damages  MORE.....
